N-of-1 methods involve the repeated measurement of one individual over time to draw conclusions that are specific to that individual. The primary aim is the analysis of data at the individual level, although a series of N-of-1 studies may be conducted and statistically combined (e.g. meta-analysis or multi-level modelling). To learn more about different types of N-of-1 designs click here.
